Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Patient Care Coordinator to join their client's team in Cary, North Carolina. This is a temp-to-hire position with an initial part-time schedule that will transition to full-time after the training period. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations within a medical office setting, providing top-notch patient care and administrative support.

Responsibilities

  • Documenting visits and care received by patients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with medical standards.
  • Conducting insurance verifications and securing Medicaid approvals.
  • Utilizing Epic software for patient management and record keeping.
  • Collaborating with medical staff to facilitate patient care coordination.
  • Maintaining professionalism and confidentiality in all patient interactions.
  • Adhering to a business professional dress code suitable for a medical clinic environment.
  • Providing exemplary customer service and fostering a welcoming environment for patients.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a medical office setting.
  • Familiarity with Epic software or willingness to learn.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience with Medicaid and insurance processes is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn about patient care coordination and mental health care.

Required Work Hours

Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM initially, transitioning to full-time hours once the training period concludes (approximately 60 days). Oncetrained full time hours will be 8:00am-5:00pm

Pay Rate: $18 - $22 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
